Division of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering

Assistant Professor of Chemistry

The Division of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the Division of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Exceptionally well-qualified applicants at the tenured level may also be considered. Areas of particular interest include experimental physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and biochemistry, although applications in any area of chemistry broadly defined are welcome. Candidates with strong commitments to research and teaching excellence are encouraged to apply. The term of the initial untenured appointment is four years, and the appointment is contingent upon completion of all requirements for a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or in a related field.
