Aerospace Fluid Mechanics
The Division of Engineering and Applied Science at the California Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position with emphasis in Aerospace Fluid Mechanics at the assistant professor level. We are seeking candidates with an outstanding research record and a strong commitment to teaching. Areas of interest include, but are not restricted to: flow physics, aerodynamics, flow control, and autonomy with applications to both aerospace and underwater systems. Initial appointment at the assistant professor level would be for four years and contingent on completion of the Ph.D. degree. Exceptionally qualified candidates may also be considered at the associate or full professor level. Candidates should submit an on-line application. A CV, list of publications, statements of research and teaching plans, copies of up to three publications and three reference letters are required.
