Faculty Position in Experimental and/or Theoretical Physics

The Division of Physics, Mathematics and Astronomy at the California Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track professorial position at the junior level in experimental and/or theoretical physics.  We are conducting a very broad search spanning all areas of physics including those not
currently pursued by the Caltech physics faculty.

We are seeking highly qualified candidates committed to a career in research and teaching. Please apply online. Applications should include curriculum vitae, a list of papers published and submitted (with refereed papers indicated), a brief essay describing the applicant's research interests and the program of research he/she proposes to carry out at Caltech and a brief teaching statement. Applicants are also requested to have at least three letters of reference uploaded. The names and email addresses of the referees should be included in the application. Application materials must be submitted
electronically in pdf format (not password protected).

Consideration of applications will begin on Oct 1, 2015, and applicants are encouraged but not required to meet that deadline.
