The Division of Physics, Mathematics and Astronomy at Caltech invites applications for tenure-track positions in experimental and theoretical physics. Areas of interest to the Division include astrophysics, atomic, molecular and optical physics, condensed matter physics, gravitational physics, high energy and nuclear physics, and quantum information science. We are primarily interested in candidates at the untenured assistant professor or associate professor ranks, but will also consider applications for tenured professorial positions. We are seeking highly qualified candidates committed to a career in research and teaching.
Applications should include a curriculum vitae, a list of papers published and submitted (with refereed papers indicated), and a brief essay describing your current research interests and the program of research you propose to pursue at Caltech. Applicants should also have at least three letters of reference uploaded.
Consideration of applications will begin on Oct. 15, 2013, and applicants are encouraged but not required to meet that deadline.
